Born and raised in and around New York City, my eyes weren’t opened to Sweden until the day I stumbled upon my recently-moved-in Swedish neighbor. Not only did I soon fall in love with her, but I’ve also come to embrace my new home country as my own. We both thought we were meant to live bustling metropolitan lives, but as we turned 30 and started to long for more nature and less concrete, we allowed ourselves to look past Manhattan… and ironically ended up glancing all the way to an island in the archipelago of Stockholm – which we now call home.

I studied mechanical engineering in college and thrived among systems, order and meticulous calculations for about 10 years, but as we settled surrounded by tall trees and salty ocean smell, I felt a strong urge to leave that world behind and pursue something that had been a dormant passion for years: photography.

And here I am – a husband, father, vegetable grower, ultra runner, avid vegetarian home cook and – you guessed it – photographer. I produce as wide an array of content as my list of strong passions in life, and if it didn’t sound so pretentious, I’d say my seemingly bottomless curiosity is what ultimately got me here. I truly love what I do, and I would be delighted to share a sliver of (what I’m so grateful to call) my job with you. Thank you for stopping by, and don’t be a stranger!
